Clinical Problem: Hamstring spasticity
(quadriplegia, diplegia)
Ultraflex Solution: Custom Molded KAFO (dynamic
knee component, solid ankle or rom stop joint)
Clinical Goal: Conservatively maintain and increase muscle length of hamstring (and gastroc-soleus); delay hamstring lengthening surgery, complement multi-level Botulinim Toxin A.
Evaluation/Casting: Flex knee, correct and cast ankle to neutral in all planes.
