Clinical Goal: Stop progression of deformity and achieve correction toward an intrinsic + wrist, hand, finger position.
Evaluation/Casting: Drop wrist into maximum flexion, cast for 10-15 degrees of MP flexion and straight DIP and PIP joints with good palmar arch. Read more on Casting Considerations.
